  • 1984 – Super Bowl XVIII is played at Tampa stadium.  A Disney production called “Salute to Superstars of Silver Screen” is its halftime show
  • 1995 – The second of 40 trading cards celebrating Disneyland’s 40th Anniversary – “1956 Astro Jets” – are handed out to guests visiting the park.
  • 2006 – Disney California Adventure hosts a Celebrity attended premiere for “Monsters Inc.: Mike and Sully To The Rescue!
  • 2008 – The Disney/Pixar movie “Ratatouille” receives five Oscar nominations – the most ever for a Disney/Pixar film.
  • 2009 – Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion 40th anniversary tickets sell out in just 10 minutes – at up to $475 a piece!
  • 2010 – 400 Walt Disney World employees volunteer to man phones during the “Hope For Haiti” live telethon.
  • 2013 – Disney’s oldest cruise ship – the Disney Magic – is named the #1 largest cruise ship by Condé Nast Traveler.
